DESCRIPTION:The Westville Area Chamber of Commerce and local entrepreneur Jake Mooneyhan invites you to the newest addition to Westville’s public art collection.\n\nPlease join us for a dedication and ribbon cutting of the mural that has been painted on a decommissioned ATM machine at Biggby Coffee-Westville.  The event will be on Saturday\, June 14\, 2025\, 1 Parkman Place\, Westville\, IN 46391 starting at 9am.\n\nMr. Mooneyhan supports the Westville Comprehensive Plan that was created in 2016 which indicated a need to improve the Westville aesthetic. The appearance of our community is one of the first opportunities to make a positive impression on residents and people passing through the city. Making it aesthetically and visually pleasing will enhance a sense of place and improve the quality of life of the residents.\n\nThe decommissioned ATM machine at Biggby’s has been painted to represent local flora and fauna. With the help of The Lubeznik Center for the Arts\, artist Alex Ann Allen was chosen by Mooneyhan to create this work of art.\n\nAlex Ann Allen is an artist and curator based in South Bend\, IN\, specializing in portraiture and large-scale geometric color portals that merge abstraction with realism. Passionate about the transformative power of public art\, Alex is recognized for her work with youth\, schools\, colleges\, and libraries\, using murals to inspire hope\, joy\, and creativity in the next generation.\n\nShe is the founder and lead curator of Mural Mania\, an annual mural festival that brings artists from across the country to her hometown\, fostering community engagement through vibrant street art. Driven by a commitment to connection and empowerment.  Alex’s work celebrates neighborhood pride and the unifying power of art across America.\n\nJake Mooneyhan and the Biggby Coffee-Westville team are excited to present this mural to Westville. The store will offer refreshments during the ribbon cutting.

DESCRIPTION:Vendors:  Click on this Market on Main | 2025 – Vendor Application to apply for a booth \nGuidelines as of 2025: \nMarket on Main has become Westville Area Chamber of Commerce’s successful event with a focus on promoting the Town of Westville and supporting the growth and development of the surrounding areas. \nThe purpose of this event is to showcase artisans\, which allows artists of all kinds to showcase and sell their handicrafts.  Market on Main will primarily market this event to artisans\, but we have expanded our offer to our members and those not-for-profit member businesses who would like to purchase or obtain a booth for informational purposes.  We will encourage those businesses to also make this a fun event for the participants who attend the fair by providing games for the young ones or providing water or snacks for the pets that attend the event with their owners. \nOutlined below are the guidelines for Market on Main \n\nFor approved artisan vendors\, we will continue to offer booths for the low cost of $65 for one space\, $100 for an enlarged space.\nNot-for-profit members will be offered a small booth at no cost. They must have supplied the Chamber with their 501c3 paperwork.\nNot-for-profit (all membership levels) and for-profit gold members who want to participate will be provided with a booth at no cost. They should provide marketing swag\, games for children or water/snacks for pets.  They must still apply for a booth (link below).\nSilver members who want to participate will be offered a booth at a 10% discount.\nBusinesses located on Main Street will be allowed to participate. DESCRIPTION:Coming Soon\, Parents & Students!\nRoaring Back to School is a community event in which students\, parents\, and families from surrounding communities have an opportunity to prepare for a new school year in a fun environment.  Backpacks and school supplies are distributed and community organizations offer tons of valuable information and resources. \nThis year\, Westville Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor this event that happens on Thursday\, August 1\, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at both PNW campuses. \nThere are a number of ways that you can support this event: \n\nMonetary donation/sponsorship (we will shop for school supplies)\nDonation Link: https://pnw.edu/giving/backpack-giveaway\nSchool snack donations (boxed\, non-perishable snacks)\nHost a resource table and share information with families\nVolunteer your time to help at the event\n\nIf you are interested in partnering with PNW to help make this event a huge success\, please let us know. DESCRIPTION:Vendors:  Click on this Market on Main | 2024 – Vendor Application to apply for a booth \nGuidelines as of 2024: \nAs of January 1\, 2024\, changes have been made for those wishing to participate in Market on Main.  Market on Main has become Westville Area Chamber of Commerce’s successful event with a focus on promoting the Town of Westville and supporting the growth and development of the surrounding areas. \nThe purpose of this event is to showcase artisans\, which allows artists of all kinds to showcase and sell their handicrafts.  Market on Main will primarily market this event to artisans\, but we have expanded our offer to our members and those not-for-profit member businesses who would like to purchase or obtain a booth for informational purposes.  We will encourage those businesses to also make this a fun event for the participants who attend the fair by providing games for the young ones or providing water or snacks for the pets that attend the event with their owners. \nOutlined below are the guidelines for Market on Main \n\nFor approved artisan vendors\, we will continue to offer booths for the low cost of $65 for one space\, $100 for an enlarged space.\nNot-for-profit members will be offered a small booth at no cost. They must have supplied the Chamber with their 501c3 paperwork.\nNot-for-profit (all membership levels) and for-profit gold members who want to participate will be provided with a booth at no cost. They should provide marketing swag\, games for children or water/snacks for pets.  They must still apply for a booth (link below).\nSilver members who want to participate will be offered a booth at a 10% discount.\nBusinesses located on Main Street will be allowed to participate.
