Sweet Lou, That’s Who

In 2013, Ken and Lou established a family owned restaurant and catering service where the slogan “Who’s Cooking? Sweet Lou, that’s Who!” became commonplace for Westville, Indiana residents. Known simply as “Sweet Lou’s,” they proudly served only the best recipes from Lou’s cookbook, showcasing Chicago Style food alongside old-fashioned, home cooked meals in the Westville restaurant. When COVID-19 forced many small businesses to close worldwide, it damaged both “Sweet Lou’s” restaurant and catering businesses. In 2021, Ken and Lou decided to rebuild in Michigan City  by expanding their catering business. Additionally, their son Jamie established “Full Moon Creamery” to offer homemade ice cream “Sweet Lou’s Premier Catering” menu features American, Italian, Mexican, and other cuisine selections perfect for any occasion.
